My download speed is 2.5 mbps, and my upload speed is the exact same as yours. 8.7 kbps . i doubt the op will check back, but, to my understanding, was it your router that was the problem? i've spent all monrning trying to fix this issue with port fowarding etc and no luck so far.. I have a 7 megabytes per second connection ( 7 mb/s), i usually expect my ps4 to download at around 4-7 mb/s but occasionally it downloads as slow as 300 kilobytes, at that point if i test my internet connection it would start downloading at the expected speed. the same thing has worked for my friends.. Is 29.96 mbps download speed and 5.97 mbps upload speed good? what would my download speed be in mbps if it takes me 20 minutes to download a 2 gigabyte file? is 30 mbps download speed enough for gaming?. I picked up a ps4 yesterday and i've hardly been able to connect to psn, its been kind of ridiculous so far. i downloaded infamous just fine (disk) and now i've been trying to download the show for 7 hrs now (digital) and i'm at 30%. my xbox is literally right above the ps4 and i consistently am at around 25 mbps on xbox, i just checked my ps4 and i'm running at 12.6 kbps. i really don't get.
